The chips are sold out and the model labs have signed the orders. Now the bond market is deciding what those orders are worth.
Top reads
1. Memory is sold out through 2028, and Micron said so
Micron did $54.23B of revenue against a $51.51B estimate, at an 87.0% gross margin. More than 75% of 2027 output is already committed. Customers are now asking for supply in 2031. Management says 2027 and 2028 will be tighter than 2026.
Why it matters — A supplier that has sold three years forward is no longer in a cycle. It has a contract book, and it is being priced as one.

2. Anthropic's S-1 is mostly a list of promises
2025 revenue was $4.59B, up 1,088%, with an $8.06B operating loss. The company has $518B of compute commitments over ten years, about 80% of them non-cancellable. Broadcom will lend up to $42B against a $125.2B TPU lease, which means it is financing its own biggest customer.
Why it matters — When the vendor lends the buyer the money, demand looks firm. Whether it is firm depends on the lender, not the chip.

3. The long end repriced the buildout. The Fed didn't have to
The 10-year ended Q3 at 5.29%, up 87bp. That is its worst quarter since 1994, and real yields are near 3%. Soft core PCE (3.0% against 3.3%) cut October hike odds below 40%, and the long end didn't move. All four datacenter high-yield deals since July priced at a discount. CleanSpark paid 7.875%.
Why it matters — Even with Meta as the tenant, CleanSpark's paper priced at 98.5. The market has stopped treating datacenter demand as risk-free.

4. Korea printed a $120B month on one product
September exports hit a record $120.9B. Semiconductors were $60.3B of that, up 262.8% and the first month above $60B. Autos fell 5%, displays 9%, appliances 13%. DDR5 16Gb went from $37.5 in May to $48 in September.
Why it matters — Half the country's exports now ride one price curve. That is leverage when it rises and concentration risk when it turns.

5. Banks are adopting stablecoins as plumbing
Lloyds settled $750,000 with Visa in USDC during a seven-day live cross-border pilot. Citi expanded its Coinbase partnership to run stablecoin payments for corporate clients. The SEC proposed letting advisers and funds self-custody crypto. None of these is a consumer product.
Why it matters — Incumbents are taking the stablecoin rail and leaving the brand. Adoption is happening in back offices first.

Thesis updates
Reinforced — The AI buildout is a credit trade (W38 candidate)
Broadcom is lending Anthropic up to $42B to rent Broadcom's chips. SoftBank is marketing more than $11B of BB+ debt to fund OpenAI. Datacenter high-yield bonds now price at a discount even with Meta as tenant.
Clean evidence — Platform Is Trust
At Newcomer's summit, one founder's agent booked three luxury nights in Tokyo without asking him. OnePay caps agents with "spend pockets." Lead Bank is pitching a 30-page framework on agent identity, liability and recourse. Agentic commerce is waiting on trust, not capability.
Confirmed — The Ledger
Lloyds and Visa settled in USDC. Robinhood Wallet routes more than 190 stock tokens through Arcus. Base shipped new functions for its B20 asset standard. Tokenized claims are moving into regulated venues.
Reinforced · Korea leg — Korea sells the grid, not just the chip
Korean transformer exports were $302M in September, up 38%, and ultra-high-voltage units rose 53%. LS Electric won a ₩181.2B North American hyperscale power contract.
New candidate — Memory stopped being a cycle
Micron has 75% of 2027 committed and customers asking for 2031. Long-term agreements went from 16 to 26. If price is set years ahead, the old peak-and-bust frame stops applying.
